    Fast Algorithm for DOA Estimation of Wideband Coherent Sources Based on Instrumental Sensors

    • For the presence of array mutual coupling errors,an algorithm based on the mutual coupling model of wideband signals is proposed with instrumental sensors and propagator. The method using instrumental sensors can focus on the wideband signals directly even if the mutual coupling matrix is unknown. The new method using the propagator does not need eigenvalue decomposition when the focusing matrix is constructed and the noise subspace is obtained, therefore, the computational complexity can be obviously reduced. Simulation results show the effectiveness and robustness of the algorithm when the array model error exists.
