Study on the Social Recognition of the Immigrant Labor in Macao From the Communication Behavior Perspective

The immigrant labor plays an important role in promoting Macao's social and economic development.However,how to measure the social recognition has rarely been empirically examined.The article researches on the social recognition of the immigrant labor in Macao by the way of the questionnaire survey from the communication behavior perspective.Data from the immigrant labor working in Macao clearly supported our theoretical classification that the social recognition of the immigrant labor is a multidimensional construct.The results showed that the city recognition and the identity recognition of the immigrant labor are relatively high,and the group recognition and the cultural recognition are lower.
