The Application of Personification to Oral English
As an indispensable figure of speech in rhetoric,personification is widely used in the language communication,enhancing the vividness and freshness of what is being described.This paper challenges to take a new perspective and conducts a research on the application of personification to oral English,in contrast with written English,based on some relevant theories in Pragmatics.
