On Shen Congwen's “Expression of the Abstract”

Adopting the means of social and historical criticism and close reading, the author studies Shen Congwen's writings created in Kunming and indicates the “expression of the abstract” is the combination of abstract speculation and expression in aesthetic exploration. For Shen Congwen, “expression of the abstract” changed his writing style.
