Free Competition and Self-Control in Job Allocation for College Graduates

    • Based on first-hand data, this study focuses on the dilemma in job market for college graduates, demonstrating the logic and limit of market-orientation and competition in allocating human resource with talents.Human resource allocation is different from that of material resource. The argument is that the government is responsible in providing a pre-condition for fair competition, which is to create a balanced demand vs.supply as well as a matching structure. An operational measure of self-control for the talent market is discussed;the main issue now is to improve the mechanism and organizations for talent allocation.
