Community-based Social Organizations and the Transformation of Community Governance Structure

In the last 10 years,Chinese community-based social organizations as the indispensable important forces in constructing the harmonious community have developed rapidly and played a positive role in the economy and social life.The paper uses the standard analysis method research,overviews the meaning and social functions of the community-based social organizations,and analysizes comprehensively the function in the community governance structure.The paper comes to the conclusion that the development of community-based social organizations plays a strategic role in the transformation of community governance structure and the government should provide them with social space and resources.
