Abstract
Western philosophy witnessed a revolutionary linguistic turn in the early 20th century, in which the logos-centrism trend had been turned into keen discussions on language. As a classical reading of Confucianism, Analects of Confucius is a record of the talks of Confucius and his disciples. With its chapters arranged at random and a profuse variety of meanings of its words, Analects of Confucius can be understood and interpreted in various ways. This paper tries to interpret its language in the way the western philosophers have analyzed the language.
