    War Sexuality and Trauma:A Feminist Study of Nora Keller's Comfort Woman

    • Korean American woman writer Nora Keller's Comfort Woman (1997) represents the tragic experience of the protagonist Akiko who was forced into a comfort woman for Japanese soldiers during the Second World War and her physical and psychological trauma caused by it.The invasive war was dominated by male and started by Japanese militarists;whereas,being the "other" and the "second sex" in a patriarchal society,women were objectified into the discharging tool of Japanese invading soldiers' sexual desire in the war.
