Discussion on"Nine"Genre

The academia's understanding of "Nine" Genre is too simple to summary the features of it which are more complicated than nine chapters and speaking for Qu Yuan. This paper believes that "Nine" Genre originated in three pieces of "Nine" Genre in Chu Ci and formally settled in three pieces of "Nine" Genre in Han Dynasty.After Wei and Jin Dynasties,this genre had been in a state of changing,especially after the Song Dynasty;it clearly surmounted three pieces of "Nine" Genre in Han Dynasty and returned to Chu Ci. In content,it shows two other important themes,one is expressing personal emotions while the other is worship.In texture,types of eleven chapters and non-divided chapter also survived.Besides,it also appeared some kinds of variant.
