On the Norm of Confucius' Administrative Ethics

    • The thought of Confucius' administrative ethics, generally speaking, stresses and pursues the moral rule and the benevolent administration, pays attention to ethics, advocates harmoniousness, seeks social stability. To improve "the executive corrupt behaviour" of "ruin of rules" at that time, Confucius summarized and proposed some administrative ethics norm, whose content as follows: guarding against luxury and upholding thrifty, permitting desire but no greed; abiding by "four never" strictly, sticking to morality and justice; "persevering the position tirelessly, carrying out the government affairs befaithfully", "speaking and acting carefully", "away from anxiety and fear", "keeping off small gains", "maintenancing harmony through different opinions"; "obtaining the trust from people", "Managing administrative affairs by the doctrine of the mean" ect. Doubtlessly, there are certain theoretical significance and practical value to research and analyse these thoughts in the aspect of regulating "the executive corrupt behaviour" of some administrative personnel nowadays.
