Abstract

The construction of the needy students' financial aid system is based on the characteristics of those needy students' college life and their strategies to overcome the poor situations.The study involves 14 college needy students and through the interviews,the author finds out that those needy students not only bear the burden financially and non-financially,but face a limited personal development.Meanwhile,introversion,reflection and participation are supposed to be the three basic strategies to poverty.The paper suggests that the construction of the needy students' financial aid system should be taken into account from all the aspects of the students' college life as well as their coping strategies.
