Laozi's Ecological Wisdom Characteristics and Limitations

Laozi has rich and profound ecological wisdom.To clarify and explore this idea,On the one hand the characteristics of the system are shown,such as;Perspectives-“Dao Creates all things”; Ecological law point of view-“Dao follows the natural”;Ecological equality perspective-“The matter of equal status”;Ecological practice perspective-“The natural inaction”;Eco-development point of view-“Knowing only will not be threatened”;Ecological view of life-“Less private desires”,etc.On the other hand,rational consideration of the ecological wisdom of the existence of limitations can not be ignored, such as;The mystery of its thinking in a certain extent undermines the people's in-depth exploration of ancient science and technology;too much emphasis on the unity and the lack of attention to the personality and undeniable conservative and so on.This objective analytical attitude will be beneficial to the better inheritance of Lao tze's valuable cultural wealth to the mankind.
