Deepening the Reform and Broadening the Opening Level to Promote the Economic Structural Adjustment

"Development should be the main concern while structural adjustment acts as a crucial interweaving thread" is first proposed formally in the guideline of the tenth five-year plan on China's civil economic and social development. It fully illustrates Chinese government's concern about the structural adjustment. This paper points out that only by deepening the reform and broadening the opening level can the strategic adjustment of economic structure be put forward smoothly. In this process, the macroeconomic policies such as fiscal policy, monetary policy and industrial policy should be applied correspondingly according to the varied economic situations.
