Oxymoron,as a figure of speech frequently used in English,usually reflects the semantic featurcs of dialectical unity.It is a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms are combined to produce an epigrammatic effect.It can be divided into condensed type and enlarged type.It is widely used in English poetry,dialogue of movie and drama,speech,or even in the conversation of daily life.It plays an important role in spoken English.
