Discussion on Li Bai's History-Intoned Yuefu Poetry

    • Li Bai's history-intoned Yuefu poetry showed feminine and similar themes, but at the same rime paid serious attention to female life. Most of the rest of the poetry renewed Han, Wei's Xing-Ji tradition, changed the weak and monotonous situation of poety in the Southern and the early Tang Dynasties, extended the range of subjects and signaled the poetry of the flourishing Tang Dynasty coming into a new stage. His poems had musical features and used old rifles. However, he correctly handled the relationship of restoration and innovation and showed unique artistic traits. So the study can deepen our knowledge about Li Bai's poems.
