    Teaching of Reading with Three Levels of Comprehension

    • Based on the principles of semantics and pragmatics, the paper discusses the teaching contents and methods concerned with the understanding of surface meaning, deep meaning and extensive meaning in reading comprehension. The purpose is to help students improve their performance in reading, and at the same time improve their ability to speak and write.
