Evaluation of Chinese Harmonious City Competitiveness and Analysis of the Influence Factors

As the research object of 289 prefecture-level and above cities,this article discusses the building of the evaluation index system of Chinese harmonious city competitiveness from the aspects of government's good governance,social fairness,the social security system and the social security.After the standardized processing of data,we estimated the index of Chinese harmonious city competitiveness and made a comparative study of them in areas,spatial distribution and "two vertical and three horizontal" strategic pattern of urbanization.At last,we analyzed the main influence factors on Chinese harmonious city competitiveness and put forward that the strategy of China's new urbanization should be according to the local circumstances,focus on the development from the economy to the society,so as to improve the harmonious level of the whole society.
