    Research on the Effect of the Price on the Optimal Quality Based on Food Supply Chain

    • In order to improve the food quality safety in China,the optimization model is built with the object of the expected utility maximum to research on the effect of the price on the optimal quality when the food supply chain consisting of the risk-averse supplier and the risk-averse manufacturer is integrated, decentralized led by the manufacturer,or decentralized led by the supplier.The conclusion shows that the quality determined by the main member of the supply chain who is nearer to the market demands or the leader increases by the food price increase,and the quality determined by the other is affected by the food price directly and indirectly.Finally,the numerical study analyses the important role of the quality sensitiveness in the food market for the effect and some suggestions are provided according to the conclusion.
