Study on the Factors Influencing English Communicative Competence

Based on language functions in functional linguistics,conversational implicature, cooperative and politeness principles in pragmatics,and triple contextual categorization in international and intercultural communication,the paper analyses the language and pragmatic functions,cultural implication,and communicative levels expressed by language forms in communication,and introduces the strategies for communicative competence.
