Court Mediation in the View of Social Transformation

To study court mediation in the view of social transformation is a way to know deeply the function changes of courts in dispute resolution.Based on the civil case data of a basic-level court in Zhejiang province between 1982 and 2008,this article finds the rate of mediation has declined obviously and the rate of adjudication has grown consistently in case disposition.These changes in case disposition mean it is a new adjustment to the social transformation for basic courts.
