The Empirical Study on Human Capital and Enterprise Competitiveness: Taking NGEs in China for Example

Through questionnaire investigation of human capital and the competitiveness of NGEs in 14 provinces and cities,based on the data collected by the Center for NGEs Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(CASS) in 2007,this paper analyzes empirically the relationship between human capital and the competitiveness of NGEs.The research result indicates that the most characteristic variables of human capital have a positive effect on NGEs' competitiveness,but not significantly;the impact of human capital on the competitiveness of NGEs differs in different scale.The effect of human capital on the competitiveness enhancement of NGEs is still limited.
