    • In the Spring and Autumn Age, Confucius explained "LI" with "Ren", making clear the position, function and value of human being as the subject of practice. Thus he established the basic spirit of the Chinese national culture, which emphasizes the subject and the initiative of human being, namely the subject spirit of constantly striving to become stronger. The spirit is just the inherent spiritual strength to promote the development of Chinese nation.
