Social Structure and Social Development in Contemporary China

This article highly summarizes the current situation in economic and social field, and then points out that the current social principal contradictions are the imbalance between the economic development and the social development,and it is the root of all social contradictions and problems.The paper makes an important judgment that social structure lags behind the economic structure for about 15 years.Finally,the article draws a conclusion that strengthening the social development is the key to solve this contradiction and meanwhile some advices are given.
