    Challenges of Digital Society to Educational Practice and the Responses

    • Digital society is the product of the development of human society to a certain historical stage. Relying on the increasingly perfect digital infrastructure, innovative artificial intelligence theory and iterative evolutionary algorithm technology, it has accelerated the tremendous change in the way of knowledge production and dissemination. The digitalization of education will benefit from the construction of digital China and intelligent society and usher in a new development space. The development of digital society not only empowers educational practice, but also brings some challenges to educational practice, which are mainly reflected in the following aspects: firstly, digital media education solidifies the self-centered cognitive experience; secondly, the subjective consciousness catalyzed by digital technology dispels the authority of the traditional education system; thirdly, the performance-based digital education industry and social involution acceleration logic are complementary. In view of the risky challenges faced by educational practice in digital society, this paper puts forward concrete solutions, namely, promoting the optimization of national educational digital action strategy; perfecting the ecological governance of education in digital society; strengthening the guidance for the younger generation's digital life. In a word, the shadow should be gotten rid of the presence of digital technology and the flowing landscape of the screen on the authenticity of social subjects, preventing the value of human truth, goodness and beauty from becoming an algorithmic procedure for market transaction and benefit distribution, and ensuring the educational form empowered by digital technology to be returned to the educational essence.
