Abstract
China is in the process of rapid urbanization. The urbanization is not only the process of farmers entering cities, but also the process of a large number of people transferring from the central and western regions to the eastern ones. This process originates from the urban-rural gap and the regional ones. The imbalances of both urban-rural growth and regional development in China's development, are related to the high concentration of productive factors inherent in industrialization and modernization. At present, the gap between the East and the West in China is essentially a gap between urban and rural areas, which is in nature an extremely large-scale urban economic belt in the eastern coastal areas. In future, it is inevitable for rural population to enter the cities and the population to transfer to the eastern regions, and the high concentration of population and productivity is a common phenomenon in modern society and reasonable. China's urbanization needs to follow this inevitability.
