Thoughts on First-class Disciplines Construction in Local Universities Under New Situation

In the "double first-class" construction of universities and disciplines, local high-level universities enjoy a considerable proportion of the important development opportunities and missions. Taking B University as an example, this paper discusses how the local colleges and universities develop in face of the "13th Five-Year" and "double first-class" opportunities, in local social and economic structure adjustments, and under the concepts of active dislocation development and service to the local regions. In theory, it puts forward the political, social and academic logics in higher education for local universities to follow in their first-class disciplines construction. The staged achievements of the first-class discipline construction from B University further confirm the importance of the first-class discipline construction logic, and have some reference significances for other local universities in their first-class discipline construction work.
