    On "Chinese Native Sociology"

    • There exists a controversy over the issue whether a sociology originated entirely in indigenous thought in ancient China, and two different answers to it. Through the study on the two different answers, this paper concludes that even the same word "sociology" is used its meaning is completely different due to its different contexts. It also holds that the concept of "sociology" may form several discourse systems in terms of sociology, though there is so far no way to judge the right and wrong for these meanings of the term "sociology" or the discourse systems.
