Western Perspective and Indigenization in China's Policy Process——A Literature Review

    • From the perspectives of institutional structure, dynamic process, and value concept, this paper reviews the research theories of China's policy process in Western academic circles, and discusses the implications and short comings of western interpretation theory in interpreting China's policy process, and attempts to construct the indigenization theory of China's policy process. The study considers that future research should focus on the following aspects. From the perspective of institutional structure, attention should be paid to the government and political structure in the process of Chinese policy; from the dynamic process, attention to the interaction process between the state and society, especially the influence of the increasingly huge network media and social groups; from the value concept, attention to the impact of the actor's value concept in different levels of policy networks on the policy process.
