Research on the Impact of Inclusive Leadership on Turnover Intention

    • Since the twentieth century, the intention of employee turnover has been a concern. Based on the work motivation theory and social exchange theory, the author explores the relationship between inclusive leadership and the intention to leave, as well as the mediating role of job autonomy and the adjustment of psychological ownership at the same time. The inclusive leadership is divided into three dimensions: openness, validity and accessibility. By means of questionnaires distributed to some enterprises in Anhui province, the sample data was collected and tested empirically. The conclusion of the study shows that inclusive leadership is negatively related to employee turnover intention, and inclusive leadership plays a mediating role in inclusive leadership and job autonomy by influencing employees' work autonomy and hence their intention to leave. Finally, we put forward some suggestions to managers and lay the foundation for future theoretical research.
