Neo-Historical Novel:Definition,Theoratical Background and Literary Relations

摘要: 对新历史小说定义的相关界定进行了综述,阐述了“历史”的3种形态,新历史主义的兴起及其主要内容,指出西方当代历史哲学思想是新历史小说产生的理论背景;新历史小说与传统历史小说、革命历史小说的区别;新历史小说与寻根小说、先锋小说、新写实小说的文学渊源。认为新历史小说是从历史小叙事的视角来讲述近、现代民间历史生活,表达“个人自我心中的历史”的一类小说。Abstract: The passage is mainly to give a rough description to new-Historical novel, summarizing its definitions, expounding the concept of "history", and the rising and main contents of the western New Historicism, the differences between the Neo-Historical novel, the traditional historical novel and the revolutionary historical novel, as well as the literary relations between the Retrospective novel, the Avant-Garde novel and Neo-Historical novel. Finally, we can see that the Neo-Historical novel can be defined as a kind of novel which, in the light of historical narration,depicts modern life, the life of the folks in particular, and conveys "a history in one's mind".
