Abstract: The right to know of the accused means that the accused are entitled to get knowledge of the relevant information about the cases and the laws. This right is the basis of other procedural rights and embodies the subjective status of the accused. Adequate protection of the right helps to realize the procedural fairness and procedural democracy.
