Abstract: Formulae for the optimum structure coefficients and some overall distinguishing indexes for six different types of transformers are derived. These results are useful to structural design of transformers and quantitative check of finished products of transformers on techno-economical indexes, and are especially appropriate to automatical optimization of transformer projects by the aid of computers.
