    Recent Achievements in the Production Technology of Ductile Iron Castings

    • 摘要: 迄今,大多数铸造厂还釆用传统的浇冒口工艺生产球铁件。结果是生产成本高,而且还不能防止铸件内形成二次收缩缺陷。
      本文论述了球铁冷凝过程中的收缩特性,并举例如何利用控制压力冒口原理进行球铁件的工艺设计。应用新的冒口技术能够防止铸件的收缩缺陷,显著提髙铸件工艺出品率。

       

      Abstract: Up to now, most factories still use traditional risering methods to produce ductile iron castings,resulting in high production cost and that it could not prevent castings from secondary shrinkage defects.
      This paper expounds shrinkage characteristics of ductile iron in the course of cooling and solidification,and illustrates how pressure control risering principle is applied to the technology design of ductile iron castings. Using new risering technique can prevent castings from solidification defects and notably increase pattern yield.
