    High Order Infrared Study of C60

    • 摘要: 在室温下测量了KBr衬底上C60薄膜的付立叶变换红外外吸收谱,除了4个红外活性的F1u模外,还观测到17条强度微弱的谱线.在群论分析基础上,它们被初步指认为C60的二阶红外光谱,由此表明:C60中非谐性的影响较大;分子间相互作用较弱.

       

      Abstract: The FT-IR absorption spectrum of a C60 film on KBr substrate was recorded at room temperature. In addition to four infrared-active F1u modes, seventeen weak peaks were observed. Based upon the group theory analysis, the weak peaks are assigned to the second-order infrared lines of C60. These results indicate there are high anharmonty effects in C60 and minor influences of the intermolecular coupling upon solidification of C60.
