    A Study of Stress Intensity Factors in C-Specimens by the Method of Caustics

    • 摘要: 首次用焦散线实验方法确定C0.5试样在0.05 <(a)/(W) < 0.55范围内的应力强度因子K1,焦散线法实验结果与数值解结果一致,说明了焦散线方法的实用性。

       

      Abstract: In this paper, a study has been made for the first time for determining stress intensity factor K1 in the C0.5-specimens for non-dimensional crack length (a)/(W) in the range of 0.05 to 0. 55 by the experimental method of caustics. The experimental results are in agreement with those of the numerical solution, which shows that the method of caustics is practicable.
