    Carbon Membranes for Gas Separations-Effect of Pore Size on Membrane Separation Characteristics

    • 摘要: 讨论了气体分离用炭膜平均孔径对膜分离特性的影响.可以看出,决定透过膜传质机理的平均孔径,是膜分离特性的决定性影响因素.对于N2/O2分离而言.当控制机理处于Knudsen扩散和分子筛分之间的过渡区域时,存在着对应于最大分离能力和无选择性的两个特征孔径.

       

      Abstract: The effect of average pore size of carbon membranes for gas separation on the membrane separation characteristics was discussed. It was shown that average pore size of membrane,which determined the mechanisms of mass transfer through the membrane,was the substantial factor of the membrane separation characteristics. As to separation of N2/O2 in the transition region of Knudsen diffusion and molecular sieving, two characteristic pore sizes corresponding to the largest separation power and non-selectivity exist.
