    POCS Super-resolution Reconstruction From Image Sequences

    • 摘要: 为了有效地执行超分辨率算法,使其改善高分辨率图像的边缘质量,根据POCS算法的原理,给出了模拟-修正迭代超分辨率图像重建方法和具体实现步骤.针对重建的高分辨率图像中产生的边缘Gibbs现象,提出了一种抑制方法,该方法将中心在边缘像素的PSF与一个指数型权值函数相乘,使得修改的PSF系数沿着边缘正交的方向减小.利用模拟序列和实际序列对改进的POCS算法的有效性进行了验证.结果表明:该方法简单易行,能有效地保持边缘的特性,达到提高图像质量的目的.

       

      Abstract: For the purpose ot the implementation and the improvement tor POCS super-resolution reconstruction,we design a simulation-correction iteration method to reconstruct high-resolution images according to the theory of POCS,and also propose an improvement to reduce the amount of Gibbs artifacts present on the edges of the high-resolution reconstructed image,which weights the blur PSF centered at an edge pixel with an exponential function,and consequently decreases the coefficients of the modified PSF in the direction orthogonal to the edge.The proposed algorithm is validated using both simulated and real sequences. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is simple and available,and furthermore reduces effectively the visibility of edge artifacts and produces high-resolution images of good quality.
