    Traffic Light Control Method for a Single Intersection Based on Hybrid Systems Theory

    • 摘要: 为了应用混杂系统理论框架实施交通控制,以四相位单交叉口为对象,在建立混杂自动机模型的基础上,采用混杂系统最优控制的两状态法,提出了一种新的信号灯优化控制策略.即以1个周期内平均排队长度最小作为目标函数,应用混杂系统最优控制的两状态法,在定周期的情况下,寻找单交叉口信号灯的最佳相位轮转次序和最佳绿信比.仿真结果表明,该方法可以计算出相位最佳次序和最佳切换时刻.

       

      Abstract: The authors choose a single intersection of four phases as a model to put forward a new optimal time-planning scheme for traffic light based on the model of hybrid automata for single intersection, by using method of optimization for hybrid systems. Fixing period, the average queue length over all queues in one period is regard to objective function to find an optimal switching scheme and optimal order of phases for traffic light The method based on hybrid system can be used to compute the optimal order and optimal switching instant of phases.
