    基于超车率的双车道公路服务水平量化研究

    The Quantitative Analysis of the Level of Service of Two-lane Highways Based on Overtaking Ratio

    • 摘要: 服务水平是描述交通流内的运行条件及驾驶员与乘客感受的一种质量标准.双车道公路采用延误率和平均速度作为服务水平的分级指标,并按照经验的方法进行等级划分,这种方法缺少强有力的数据说明.在研究双车道公路不同流量情况下的超车行为时发现,超车率能够较好地反映车辆之间的干扰情况和驾驶员行驶的自由度.运用仿真手段,绘制出饱和度和超车率的关系图,根据该图表现出来的不同超车行为特征,可以将双车道公路服务水平分为4个等级,并相应给出了各级之间延误率、平均速度的取值范围,从而为通行能力手册的修订和公路工程实践提供依据.

       

      Abstract: Level of service is a kind of quality criterion, which is used to describe the operating conditions in traffic flow and the feelings of drivers' and passengers'. According to the empirical method, percent time spent following and average travel speed are regarded as the grade indicators to level of service for two-lane highways, although this approach lacks the powerful data explanation. It is discovered that the overtaking ratio can reflect the driver's freedom and the interference conditions among vehicles in traffic flow. By simulation approach, this article plotted relation curve between the V/C and overtaking ratio, then divided level of service of two-lane highways into four grades according to the characters of overtaking behaviors, and determined the numeric area for percent time spent following and average travel speed of each grade, which would provide reference for revision of highway capacity manual and engineering practices.
