    Analysis of Flow Characteristics at Freeway Bottlenecks

    • 摘要: 为了探求快速路交通瓶颈运行规律,在分析快速路交通流运行特性的基础上,结合调查数据对快速路瓶颈路段交通特性进行了分析.结果表明,交通流运行速度低于40 km/h或占有率达到28%时,交通流开始出现拥挤,并且从稳定流到强制流变化过程持续时间较短(小于10 min).此外,通过对排队前、排队后以及排队状态下服务交通流率对比分析,发现稳定流到强制流过渡过程中服务流率大于稳定流和强制流状态下的服务流率,应用流量-速度曲线模型法会过高估计快速路路段通行能力.

       

      Abstract: On the basis of analyzing the traffic flow operation of the freeway,the traffic characteristics of the freeway bottleneck were studied combining with the observed data.The results show that when the velocity of the flow is under 40 km/h or the occupancy is above 28%,congestion appears and the duration of the transition process from the stable flow to the forced flow is very short(less than 10 minutes).In addition, according to the analysis results of saturation flow rate of queue-before,queue-after and queue-developing,it is found that the service rate during the process of transfer from the stable flow to the forced flow is higher than that of the stable flow or the forced flow,so that the capacity of the freeway section obtained from flowvelocity curve model is overestimated.
