    Experimental Study on the Electrical Road Heating System for Snow Melting

    • 摘要: 为了掌握发热电缆用于路面融雪化冰的特性,建立了发热电缆路面融雪化冰的实验装置,对公路试件表面及内部的温度分布、升温过程进行了测量,探讨了北京地区沥青混凝土道路铺装发热电缆的功率及应用.研究结果表明:外界气候条件(尤其是气温)是影响发热电缆融雪效果的主要因素,单位面积的发热电缆的铺装功率为250-350 W,可以满足北京地区的路面融雪化冰要求.

       

      Abstract: In order to study the performance of electric cable road heating system, the author established an electric load heating apparatus to measure the temperature distribution and temperature ascending rules on the internal and upper surface of testing structures, and then investigated the power consumption and engineering application for electric heating cable paved on the asphalt and concrete roadway in Beijing. The results show that weather conditions (especially the temperature) are the main factors to influence the snow melting effect of electric heating cable. The range of power consumption per square meter from 250 W to 350 W can meet the requirement of melting snow and preventing freezing for roads and streets surface in Beijing.
