    Roaming System of Virtual Olympic Gymnasium on Creator and Vega Prime

    • 摘要: 以奥运羽毛球场馆为三维虚拟场景,采用建模工具软件Creator与三维图形高级开发环境Vega Prime为基本开发平台,结合Visual C++与OpenGL语言,改进计算机图形学边折叠网格简化算法,实现了具有不同复杂度的虚拟奥运羽毛球场馆三维模型简化,搭建了具有真实感的可以实时绘制的虚拟场馆三维模型;并根据Vega Prime绘制界面的不足,构建了具有友好用户界面的虚拟漫游系统,使得人们可以在进入奥运羽毛球馆观看比赛之前,提前了解场馆内座椅分布情况,同时方便管理人员更好的组织场馆内人群运营.实验证明,本系统具有很好的交互性和实时性.

       

      Abstract: Roaming technology is a very important component in the virtual reality, so that people at home can appreciate the scenic spots and historical sites from all parts of the virtual world.In this paper, a 3-dimensional model of virtual Badmionton Venue for Olympic Games with different complexity was achieved on the basis of the developing platform, which adapted the software of Creator and Vega Prime, combined Visual C++ and OpenGL language, improved mesh simplified algorithms.According to the lacking interface of Vega Prime, the friendly user's interface and roaming system was constructed, it helped people find out the distribution situation of the seat in venues before entering Olympic Games badminton hall, and helped the administrator organize the order of venues.The experiment proves that this system has very good interaction and real-time operation.
