Abstract: There are two quotas indicating the economic result of the investment in education:the contribution rate of education and the profit rate of education. The paper makes research on computing methods of the profit rate of education. The paper at first introduced several computing methods in other countries,and then revised and supplemented them relating to the practices of our country. Finally, the author calculates the profit rate of higher education in our country in the period of 1995 according to the revised methods.
