    Bifurcation and Chaos of an Axially Accelerating Visoelastic Belt

    • 摘要: 为了探索黏弹性传动带的分岔和混沌动力学特性,基于几何非线性,利用Hamilton原理建立了黏弹性传动带的非平面横向非线性动力学方程.对黏弹性传动带的偏微分动力学方程进行Galerkin截断,得到了常微分方程.利用四阶Runge-Kutta法对得到的常微分方程组进行数值模拟.模拟结果表明,黏弹性传动带系统存在分岔和混沌现象.

       

      Abstract: Bifurcation and chaos of an axially accelerating viscoelastic belt are investigated.Based on geometry nonlinearity,nonlinear governing equations of motion for the axially acelerating viscoelastic belt are derived by using Hamilton's principle.The partial differential governing equations are truncated to a set of fourdimensional ordinary differential equations based on the first term Galerkin method.The nonlinear dynamical behaviors of the system are numerically identified by using the bifurcation diagrams.The results of numerical simulations indicate that bifurcation and chaos occur in the transverse nonlinear oscillations of the axially acelerating viscoelastic belt.
