    Experimental Study on Flexurai Performance of RC Beams Strengthened with Prestressed Polyethylene FRP Sheets

    • 摘要: 聚乙烯纤维增强聚合物是一种具有优良延性的新型FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic)复合材料.试验研究了预应力聚乙烯纤维布加固混凝土梁的抗弯性能,并与芳纶纤维布和非预应力聚乙烯纤维布加固混凝土梁的抗弯性能进行了对比.结果表明:与非加固标准梁、预应力芳纶纤维布加固梁相比,预应力聚乙烯纤维布加固梁的延性系数分别提高了4%和142%,即聚乙烯纤维布加固混凝土梁具有优良的延性.

       

      Abstract: Polyethylene fiber reinforced plastic(PEFRP)is a new composite material with good ductility. Based on an experimental study,the flexural performance of the beams strengthened with prestressed PEFRP sheets are compared with that of the beams strengthened with aramid FRP(AFRP)sheets and non-prestressed PEFRP sheets.Resultsshow that the ductile index of the beam strengthened with prestressed PEFRP sheets is respectively about 4% and 142% larger than that of the beam non-strengthened and the beam strengthened with prestressed AFRP sheets,which indicates that the RC beam strengthened with PEFRP sheets possesses good ductility.
