    • 摘要: 首先介绍扫描隧道显微镜的工作原理,然后给出了扫描隧道显微技术对固体表面原子操纵的成功事例和实际应用可能,并介绍了一些国家尤其是日本对这方面研究工作的投入和支持.

       

      Abstract: Following an introduction to the principle of operation of the Scanning Tunneling Microscope, some examples of atomic-scale surface manipulation using the Scanning Tunneling Microscope are presented. The possibilities of its applications in engineering, and the research activities upon it in the world, especially in Japan are reviewed.
