    Storage Capacity of Transmission Volume Holograms by Angular Multiplexing

    • 摘要: 以耦合波理论为基础,导出了角度复用的透射型纯位相全息图存储页数的解析式,并用计算机模拟计算予以验证.结果表明,解析计算和模拟计算吻合得很好,可以用来计算存储容量、衍射极限和几何限制.并通过与当前国际上存储容量的最好水平的对比分析,指出了进一步提高存储容量的途径.

       

      Abstract: The analytical expressions for angular multiplexed Phase-type transmission volume holograms are derived, based on the coupled-wave theory. They are verified by computer-simulation calculations, which turn out a good agreement between the analysis and simulation. Thus the analytical expressions can be used for estimating storage capacity, considering diffraction limit and geometric restrictions. By comparing the calculated results with the highest storage capacity demonstrated recently, the approaches to enhance the storage capacity are discussed.
