    Analysis of Electromagnetic Wave Guide Based on Symplectic System

    • 摘要: 为了解决复杂形状横截面的电磁波导问题,根据电磁波导的Hamilton体系,采用有限元半解析横向离散的方法,在辛几何形式下对电磁波导进行求解。该方法可应用于各向异性材料,而且便于处理不同介质间的界面条件。对于各种不同的边界条件都应当保持体系的辛结构。给出了矩形、T隔膜矩形、分层、各向异性等多种波导的具体算例,其数值结果逼近真实解。

       

      Abstract: Based on the Hamilton formulation for electro-magnetic wave guides, the finite element semi-analytical transverse discretization under the symplectic formulation is used to solve the problems of wave guide with complicated cross sections. This method can be applied to an-isotropic materials, easier for treating interface conditions between different materials. The symplectic structure should be kept unchanged for various interface conditions. Examples of rectangular wave guide, rectangular waveguide with T-septum, layered waveguide, anisotropic waveguide are presented. The numerical results approach the theoretical results.
