等离子烧结的空心阴极放电特性

    Discharge Characteristic of Application of the Hollow Cathode Discharge (HCD) to Plasma Sintering

    • 摘要: 为了将空心阴极效应更好地应用于粉末冶金制品的烧结,采用不锈钢粉末压坯作为圆筒和平行平板空心阴极,进行了空心阴极放电的点燃条件以及阴极空腔宽度、气压、电压和温度等因素对放电电流密度影响的研究.结果表明,空心阴极点燃的条件是不同的空腔宽度与电压、气压条件的合理组合;放电电流密度的大小与空腔尺寸、放电电压和工作气压有关;在满足空心阴极效应的条件下,空腔尺寸越小,电压和气压越高,电流密度越大;电流密度随空心阴极温度的升高而下降.

       

      Abstract: For a better application of Hollow Cathode Discharge(HCD) to powder metallurgy sintering,with the pressed stainless powder cylinder and parallelism sheet bar as hollow cathodes,the igniting conditions of HCD and the effects of vacuum width,air pressure,voltage and temperature of hollow cathode have been studied in this paper.The results show that the igniting condition of HCD is the felicitousness combination of vacuum width,air pressure and voltage.The current density of discharge is related to the vacuum width,voltage and air pressure.Under the condition of meeting the requirements of HCD effect,the smaller the vacuum width,the higher the pressure of work gas and the discharge voltage is,and the larger the current density of discharge is.The current density reduces along with the temperature of hollow cathode rise.
