KMnO4与Cl2协同消毒在污水回用中的应用

    Application of Synergistic Disinfection of Potassium Permanganate and Chlorine in Wastewater Reuse Process

    • 摘要: 为了提高预氯化的效果,减少氯化副产物的生成量,以城市污水处理厂二级出水为试验水样,以总大肠菌群、细菌总数作为检测指标,观察了Cl2、NH2Cl单独消毒工艺以及KMnO4与Cl2协同消毒工艺在污水处理中的消毒效能,同时考察各个工艺对THMs生成的控制作用,从微生物安全性及化学安全性2个方面探讨了KMnO4与Cl2协同消毒工艺在实际应用中的可行性.结果表明,对于污染严重,尤其是有机氮、NH4+-N浓度较高的污水,Cl2消毒与NH2Cl消毒相比并不占有优势,而KMnO4与Cl2协同消毒工艺的消毒性能明显优于单独Cl2消毒工艺,并且THMs的生成量明显少于单独Cl2消毒工艺.因此,KMnO4与Cl2协同消毒工艺可以使处理后水质从微生物安全性到化学安全性2方面均得到提高.

       

      Abstract: Total count of bacteria and total coliforms group were applied as the monitoring index, and the secondary effluent from urban wastewater treatment plant were employed as water samples in this study. The disinfection efficacy by chlorine or chloramines individually or combination of potassium permanganate and chlorine were investigated in wastewater treatment process, and the control effect of trihalomethane formation was surveyed also. The feasibility of practical application on synergistic disinfection of potassium permanganate and chlorine was investigated on both aspects of chemical safety and microbial safety. The results show that chlorine disinfection have no advantage compared with chloramine disinfection for seriously polluted wastewater, especially with higher concentration of organic nitrogen and ammonia nitrogen. The disinfection efficacy of synergistic disinfection of potassium permanganate and chlorine is improved distinctly than that of chlorine disinfection individually, and trihalomethane formation is clearly less too. Therefore, both aspects of chemical safety and microbial safety of treated water can be improved by synergistic disinfection of potassium permanganate and chlorine process.
